I.C.E. Program

I.C.E. (In Case of Emergency) •  If you should ever become incapacitated, paramedics, police and firefighters often waste valuable time trying to figure out which name to call in a cell phone when disaster strikes. They need to talk immediately to a family member or close friend so you can get the medical attention you need as soon as possible. The I.C.E. Program is free and an easy way for emergency personal to help you.

All you have to do is put the name of your emergency contact person in your cell phone book with the letters ICE before the name.  For example, if the emergency contact person is Darlene, it should look like this: ICE -- Darlene. That way emergency workers treating you can quickly call Darlene to get the information they need about you. You can have more than one emergency contact. List them as ICE1, ICE2, ICE3, etc.

Emergency workers can't have enough ways to contact someone who can help them help you.
